About LéaFrance™

Hi, My name is Carine Soriano of Fremont, California, USA.

Perhaps you expected my first name to be Léa. Well, Léa is an acronym that is meaningful to me and that’s why I chose this name for my business.

They are 3 important persons in my life: Loriane / Stéphane /Alissia that makes the acronym  Léa.

As you probably guessed, Loriane and Alissia are my 2 daughters and Stéphane is my husband.

By going into business, my goal was to offer a good quality life for my entire family. It then made sense to call my business Léa France™.

Now that you know my name, you might wonder: Who is Carine?

Well, first I can say I'm a passionate woman who loves to teach. I think people are born to learn, and when I see the happy faces of my students at the end of a project, it’s the best reward I can imagine.

I began my Picture Framing obsession after attending a class in Paris in 2000. I was immediately hooked on this innovative technique. In July 2003, I moved to Canada with my husband and my daughter. I was truly amazed that I did not find the matting techniques used in France. After looking everywhere, I had to face the fact that French Picture Framing just doesn't exist in Canada. That's how I started teaching those French Framing techniques to Canadians. In 2007, I returned to France for a few months, and at that time, learned scrapbooking.

I then moved again, this time to California. In the weeks following, I decided to create a business out of my passion for Picture Framing and Scrapbooking. Since then, I’ve been exhibiting in scrapbooking events and enjoy sharing my expertise about my Photo Collage style.
