English Bevel — Biseau Anglais

The English bevel technique allows to create a 3-D effect by using a deep bevel in your frame. With this technique, you basically cut an 8-ply mat and cover it with papers.

The French Framing tools created especially for this technique allow you to cut any thick 8-ply mat. This technique is a typical one often used in France.

In this workshop, you will learn how to master the English bevel technique. It’s the equivalent of a thick bevel wrapped with paper.

At the end of the workshop, you’ll walk away with a unique custom frame.

Prerequisite: To attend this class, you must have previously attended the Paper Wrapped Mat class.

Duration: 2 hours

Fee: $30

Location: Hostess houses. We have official hostesses in San Jose, Los Altos and Fremont. (To ensure hostess privacy, map and contact information are given once registered).
